Seed Piracy Prevention

Seeds containing the Roundup Ready ® trait are protected under numerous United States patents, including Patent Number 5,352,605.  It is unlawful to save Roundup Ready ® soybeans for planting or transfer to others for use as planting seed.  NorthStar Genetics advises all its customers and dealers that saving seed from any Roundup Ready® soybean brand is in direct violation of United States patent law and may bring legal action by Monsanto Technology LLC that can result in crop destruction and/or monetary penalties, if found guilty in a court of law.             You may use another glyphosate herbicide, but only if it has been approved for use over Roundup Ready® crops, and have been labeled for this use by all required governmental agencies.  MONSANTO DOES NOT MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES OR RECOMMENDATIONS COVERING THE USE OF GLYPHOSATE PRODUCTS FROM OTHER COMPANIES WHICH ARE LABELED FOR USE OVER ROUNDUP READY CROPS.  MONSANTO SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE USE OF THESE PRODUCTS IN ROUNDUP READY CROPS.  Please note: To qualify for Roundup Rewards™ benefits, labeled Roundup® agricultural herbicides are the only systemic, non-selective herbicides which may be used for burn down or in-crop  applications on any Monsanto trait crop on your farm.  See Roundup Rewards brochure for full details.
